THP Design Studio
Origem Comum was started in 2020 by The Home Project Design Studio (Álbio Nascimento and Kathi Stertzig). They have been working as designers at the interface with traditional craftsmanship since 2004. The fascination for manual production and sustainable production methods is the basis of their work. They design products and document the cultural patterns of use of products, materials and techniques.
THP Design Studio is also an outlet for consultancy projects and business-to-business retail sales. Throughout the years this work has been developed alongside institutions such as government agencies, restaurants, hotels, schools and other private individuals.
